The person behind the teaching

  • Dr. Ashutosh is the founder-director of Inteyoga and Swami Krishnananda Yoga Vidyapeeth. His approach brings together classical yoga, Ayurveda and modern medicine, with an emphasis on understanding the whole person.
  • Traditional Sanskrit texts offer the foundation. Anatomy, physiology and medical knowledge help connect that foundation with the body and daily life.
  • His teaching draws on Hatha Yoga, acupuncture, Ayurveda and modern medicine, exploring the preventive, therapeutic and restorative dimensions of yoga through understanding, practice and experience.

His background combines a personal spiritual lineage with experience teaching yoga and applied yogic sciences.

  • Disciple of Swami Krishnananda, Divine Life Society, Sivananda Ashram, Rishikesh.
  • Initiated into Mantra Yoga on Chaitra Ram Navami (1979) at Divine Life Society, Rishikesh.
  • Former Lecturer (Applied Yogic Sciences), Bapu Nature Cure Hospital & Yogashram.
  • Former Teacher, International Sivananda Ashram.
