1. Definitions
In these Terms of Service, “participant” or “you” means any person who visits the website, submits an inquiry or application, makes a booking or payment, attends a program, or otherwise uses an Inteyoga service. “Program” includes any yoga teacher training course, retreat, workshop, class, event, accommodation package, online program, or related service offered by Inteyoga.
“Website” means the Inteyoga website and any associated forms, booking systems, learning platforms, or digital services. “Course materials” include manuals, notes, slides, handouts, recordings, photographs, videos, assessments, assignments, presentations, and other educational resources supplied in physical or digital form.
2. Acceptance of These Terms of Service
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Inteyoga Shala LLP. Your use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of the version in effect at the time of that use, application, booking, or payment.
You may not use the website or enroll in a program if you are legally unable to enter into a binding agreement. Where another person makes a booking or payment on your behalf, you remain responsible for reviewing and complying with these Terms of Service.
3. Eligibility and Enrollment
Under these Terms of Service, participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrollment unless Inteyoga expressly agrees otherwise in writing and all legally required permissions have been obtained.
Enrollment is confirmed only after completion of all applicable steps. These may include:
- Submitting a complete application;
- Receiving acceptance from Inteyoga;
- Supplying any requested qualifications or supporting documents;
- Completing an interview or eligibility assessment where required; and
- Paying the applicable deposit or course fee.
Submitting an application does not guarantee admission. Inteyoga may accept, conditionally accept, place on hold, or decline an application after considering eligibility, prior training, program suitability, available capacity, health and safety, or other relevant factors.
Where a prerequisite qualification applies, the participant must provide accurate evidence of that qualification. Inteyoga reserves the right to verify any certificate, training record, professional registration, or other supporting document submitted by a participant.
4. Accuracy of Information
Under these Terms of Service, you agree to provide complete, current, and accurate information when submitting an inquiry, application, medical disclosure, booking, payment, or other form. You must promptly inform Inteyoga if important information changes before or during a program.
Inteyoga may rely on the information you provide when assessing eligibility, arranging accommodation, preparing meals, planning instruction, or responding to safety concerns.
False, misleading, incomplete, or deliberately withheld information may result in:
- Delayed enrollment;
- Conditional enrollment;
- Cancellation of a booking;
- Refusal of participation;
- Removal from a program; or
- Withholding of certification.
5. Programs, Schedules, and Course Information
Under these Terms of Service, Inteyoga aims to describe each program accurately. Course pages, schedules, photographs, brochures, and promotional materials are provided for general information and may be updated as planning develops.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, examples of activities, instructors, menus, accommodation, timetables, excursions, or facilities are not guarantees that every detail will remain unchanged.
Inteyoga may make reasonable changes to:
- Course schedules;
- Curriculum and course content;
- The order in which subjects are taught;
- Class timings;
- Teaching methods;
- Instructors and guest teachers;
- Accommodation arrangements;
- Meal plans;
- Course venues; and
- Supporting activities or excursions.
Such changes may be made for educational, operational, safety, staffing, weather, regulatory, or logistical reasons.
Where a material change becomes necessary, Inteyoga will make reasonable efforts to notify affected participants or provide an appropriate alternative. Minor changes that do not substantially alter the nature of the program will not ordinarily constitute grounds for cancellation, compensation, or a refund.
6. Fees, Taxes, and Payments
For the purposes of these Terms of Service, program fees are displayed in the currency stated on the relevant page or invoice and may be subject to applicable taxes, including GST where required.
The amount payable, payment schedule, deposit requirement, and due dates will be stated on the program page, booking communication, or invoice.
Payments may be processed directly by Inteyoga or through third-party payment providers, including but not limited to:
- Razorpay; and
- Stripe.
Participants must ensure that payment information is accurate and that sufficient funds or credit are available.
You are responsible for any bank charges, card charges, currency conversion costs, intermediary bank fees, foreign transaction fees, or other costs imposed by a financial institution or payment provider.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Inteyoga is not responsible for exchange-rate movements or differences between the amount sent by the participant and the amount received by Inteyoga.
A payment is treated as received only when cleared funds are available to Inteyoga. Failure to pay by the stated due date may result in:
- Loss of a reserved place;
- Suspension of access to course materials;
- Cancellation of accommodation; or
- Termination of enrollment.
7. Deposits, Refunds, Cancellations, and Transfers
These Terms of Service incorporate our Refund Policy. The Refund Policy governs deposits, participant cancellations, refunds, transfers, credits, deferrals, and rescheduling requests.
Any non-refundable deposit will be identified before or at the time of booking. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, approved refunds will be calculated according to the policy that applied when the booking was made.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method where reasonably possible. The participant remains responsible for any fees deducted by banks, card issuers, payment processors, or currency-conversion providers.
Requests for any of the following are not automatically approved:
- Transfer to another program;
- Credit toward a future program;
- Replacement of the participant with another person;
- Deferral of enrollment; or
- Rescheduling of a booking.
Inteyoga may consider the notice provided, availability, administrative costs, accommodation commitments, program capacity, and other relevant circumstances when reviewing such requests.
No verbal statement by an instructor, volunteer, accommodation provider, or other person changes the Refund Policy unless confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of Inteyoga.
8. Accommodation and Meals
Under these Terms of Service, where a program includes accommodation or meals, the services provided will depend on the package selected and the booking confirmation.
Room appearance, furniture, views, layout, location within the property, and other details may vary from photographs or examples displayed on the website.
Participants must observe reasonable accommodation rules, quiet hours, safety instructions, and check-in or check-out requirements. Participants are expected to respect:
- The property and facilities;
- Accommodation staff;
- Instructors;
- Fellow students;
- Neighbours; and
- The local community.
Dietary preferences, allergies, and medically relevant food restrictions should be disclosed in writing as early as possible.
Inteyoga will make reasonable efforts to accommodate disclosed dietary needs but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or the complete absence of cross-contact. Participants with serious allergies remain responsible for obtaining medical advice and carrying any medication prescribed to them.
Inteyoga may charge a participant for the reasonable cost of cleaning, repairing, or replacing property damaged through deliberate conduct, misuse, or serious negligence.
Accommodation may be changed where reasonably necessary, provided that Inteyoga makes reasonable efforts to arrange an appropriate alternative.
9. Travel, Passports, and Visas
Under these Terms of Service, participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel unless a service is expressly included in writing.
The participant’s responsibilities may include:
- Flights;
- Trains;
- Local transportation;
- Airport or railway-station transfers;
- Passports;
- Visas and travel authorizations;
- Permits;
- Vaccinations; and
- Other travel requirements.
Visa and immigration requirements may depend on nationality, passport, program type, course duration, intended activities, and length of stay.
General information provided by Inteyoga is offered for convenience and does not replace guidance from the relevant government authority, embassy, consulate, or qualified immigration professional.
Inteyoga does not guarantee the approval, timing, validity, or suitability of a visa or travel authorization.
A visa refusal, visa delay, missed flight, transport disruption, or failure to obtain required documents does not automatically create a right to a refund outside the Refund Policy and applicable law.
10. Health, Medical Responsibility, and Insurance
These Terms of Service recognize that yoga training may involve physical exertion, sustained postures, breathing practices, meditation, dietary changes, schedule changes, and other activities that may not suit every person.
By enrolling, you confirm that you are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for you.
You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating if you have:
- A medical condition;
- An injury;
- A pregnancy;
- A disability;
- A mental health concern;
- Recent surgery;
- A serious allergy; or
- Any other issue that may affect safe participation.
You must disclose any significant condition or limitation that Inteyoga reasonably needs to know to support safety or make appropriate adjustments.
You agree to:
- Follow reasonable safety instructions;
- Work within your own physical and mental capacity;
- Stop an activity when necessary; and
- Promptly inform an instructor if you experience pain, dizziness, breathlessness, distress, or another concerning symptom.
Participation in an Inteyoga program is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, medical treatment, physiotherapy, psychotherapy, or other professional healthcare.
Inteyoga may limit or modify participation where there is a reasonable health or safety concern.
In an emergency, Inteyoga may contact local medical services or the emergency contact supplied by the participant. The participant remains responsible for medical, transportation, hospital, pharmacy, and related costs incurred on their behalf.
Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain suitable:
- Travel insurance;
- Health insurance;
- Accident insurance;
- Cancellation insurance;
- Personal property insurance; and
- Medical insurance.
Inteyoga does not sell insurance or determine whether a particular insurance policy is suitable. Participants must review coverage, exclusions, claim requirements, and pre-existing-condition provisions directly with their insurer.
11. Participant Conduct
Under these Terms of Service, participants are expected to contribute to a respectful, professional, inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
Conduct that disrupts teaching, threatens safety, damages property, harasses another person, violates privacy, or interferes with the rights of others is not permitted.
Prohibited conduct includes:
- Violence or threats of violence;
- Bullying;
- Discriminatory harassment;
- Sexual harassment;
- Theft;
- Deliberate property damage;
- Possession of unlawful substances;
- Attending classes while seriously impaired;
- Unauthorized recording;
- Repeated refusal to follow reasonable safety instructions; and
- Violation of applicable law or written program policies.
Inteyoga may investigate concerns and take proportionate action. Depending on the circumstances, such action may include:
- A discussion;
- A warning;
- Restricted participation;
- A change of room;
- Temporary suspension;
- Removal from an activity; or
- Termination of enrollment.
Serious conduct may result in immediate removal without a refund, credit, transfer, accommodation reimbursement, or other compensation, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Attendance and Participation
Under these Terms of Service, teacher training and certificate programs may have minimum requirements relating to:
- Attendance;
- Assignments;
- Assessments;
- Teaching practicums;
- Participant conduct; and
- Demonstration of required competencies.
Participants must arrive on time, attend required sessions, complete work by the stated deadlines, and participate appropriately.
Absence caused by illness, travel delay, personal commitments, or other circumstances does not automatically waive course requirements.
Inteyoga may determine whether missed work can be completed, whether an additional assessment is required, or whether the participant must join a later program.
Additional instruction, accommodation, assessment, or administrative work may involve an additional fee where the fee is disclosed in advance.
13. Certification
Under these Terms of Service, enrollment and payment do not guarantee certification.
A certificate is awarded only when Inteyoga is satisfied that the participant has completed all applicable:
- Attendance requirements;
- Assignments;
- Assessments;
- Practical evaluations;
- Ethical requirements; and
- Standards of participant conduct.
Inteyoga may withhold or delay certification where:
- Course requirements remain incomplete;
- Submitted work is not the participant’s own;
- Fees remain unpaid;
- Required documents are missing; or
- Serious conduct concerns remain unresolved.
Participants are responsible for confirming whether a certificate meets the requirements of an employer, professional association, insurer, government body, educational institution, or other third party.
Inteyoga cannot guarantee acceptance of a certificate by an external organization unless expressly stated in writing.
14. Online Programs and Technical Requirements
Under these Terms of Service, participants in an online or blended program are responsible for obtaining any required:
- Computer, tablet, or other suitable device;
- Internet connection;
- Software;
- Email account;
- Camera;
- Microphone; and
- Other technical resources specified for the course.
Inteyoga is not responsible for interruptions caused by the participant’s equipment, internet service, local power supply, software, or third-party platform.
Login details and learning-platform access are personal and must not be shared with another person.
Participants may not record, copy, publish, resell, or distribute online sessions or course materials without prior written permission.
Inteyoga may perform maintenance, update a platform, replace a digital service, or temporarily restrict access where reasonably necessary.
Where an Inteyoga-controlled technical failure materially prevents access, Inteyoga will make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide an appropriate alternative.
15. Personal Property
Under these Terms of Service, participants are responsible for their own belongings, including:
- Passports;
- Money;
- Electronic devices;
- Jewellery;
- Documents;
- Medication;
- Clothing; and
- Other personal possessions.
Valuable items should not be left unattended.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inteyoga is not liable for the loss, theft, accidental damage, or misplacement of personal property unless the loss was directly caused by conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Lost property may be stored for a reasonable period. The participant may be required to pay any packaging, courier, postage, or delivery costs associated with returning an item.
16. Photography, Video, and Media
Under these Terms of Service, photographs, video, or audio may be created during courses, retreats, workshops, classes, or events for educational, archival, operational, promotional, or marketing purposes.
Participants who do not wish to appear in identifiable promotional media should notify Inteyoga in writing before the program begins and remind the program team upon arrival.
Inteyoga will make reasonable efforts to respect a timely opt-out request. However, it may not always be possible to remove a person from:
- Wide-angle crowd photographs;
- Incidental background footage; or
- Material already lawfully published before a withdrawal request is received.
Participants may not photograph, film, or record another participant in a private or sensitive setting without consent.
Recording teaching sessions, assessments, course materials, private conversations, or confidential discussions requires prior permission.
17. Intellectual Property
Under these Terms of Service, all course materials, manuals, recordings, presentations, logos, trademarks, website content, photographs, videos, graphics, assessments, and educational resources provided by Inteyoga remain the intellectual property of Inteyoga Shala LLP or the applicable rights holder.
Unless written permission is provided, course materials are licensed only for the enrolled participant’s personal learning and non-commercial use.
Participants may not:
- Reproduce course materials;
- Upload course materials;
- Publish course materials;
- Translate or adapt course materials;
- Distribute course materials;
- Sell or sublicense course materials;
- Commercially teach from protected materials; or
- Create competing materials from protected Inteyoga content.
Nothing in these Terms of Service transfers ownership of Inteyoga’s name, branding, curriculum, or intellectual property.
18. Acceptable Use of the Website
Under these Terms of Service, you may use the website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems;
- Interfere with website operation;
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- Collect personal information without permission;
- Impersonate another person;
- Submit fraudulent or deliberately misleading information;
- Bypass security controls;
- Copy substantial portions of the website without permission;
- Use automated systems to extract content without permission; or
- Falsely suggest that Inteyoga endorses a person, organization, product, or service.
Inteyoga may restrict or block access where we reasonably believe that the website is being misused, security is threatened, or these Terms of Service have been breached.
19. Third-Party Services and Links
The Inteyoga website may contain links to third-party websites or use services supplied by:
- Payment processors;
- Video platforms;
- Map providers;
- Accommodation providers;
- Learning platforms;
- Email services;
- Analytics providers; or
- Social media companies.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms, policies, and privacy practices.
Inteyoga does not control every third-party website and is not responsible for its availability, accuracy, security, content, pricing, products, services, or conduct.
A link or technical integration does not necessarily constitute an endorsement by Inteyoga.
20. Privacy and Electronic Communications
These Terms of Service should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Our collection, use, storage, and handling of personal information are described in the Privacy Policy.
By using the website or services, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed as reasonably necessary to administer:
- Inquiries and applications;
- Bookings;
- Payments;
- Accommodation;
- Meals;
- Learning activities;
- Communications;
- Health and safety; and
- Legal obligations.
You agree that Inteyoga may send transactional and administrative communications electronically, including:
- Application updates;
- Booking confirmations;
- Invoices;
- Payment reminders;
- Schedule information;
- Course instructions;
- Policy updates; and
- Health or safety notices.
You are responsible for providing a working email address and checking messages, including spam or junk folders.
Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any available consent or unsubscribe controls.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent Inteyoga from sending communications necessary to administer an existing application, booking, payment, or program.
21. Reviews, Feedback, and Submitted Content
Under these Terms of Service, you may choose to send feedback, reviews, testimonials, photographs, suggestions, or other content to Inteyoga.
You retain ownership of content that belongs to you.
By intentionally submitting content for publication or promotional use, you grant Inteyoga a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to reproduce, display, format, and publish it for the purpose for which it was submitted.
You confirm that submitted content:
- Belongs to you or is submitted with appropriate permission;
- Does not infringe another person’s rights;
- Does not contain unlawful material;
- Does not contain defamatory material;
- Does not disclose confidential information without permission; and
- Is not deliberately false or misleading.
Inteyoga may decide whether, where, and for how long to publish submitted content and may remove it at any time.
22. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes any mandatory right available to a consumer under applicable law.
Subject to that qualification and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Inteyoga, Inteyoga Shala LLP, and their instructors, employees, contractors, representatives, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the website or participation in a program.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inteyoga is not responsible for loss arising from:
- Circumstances outside its reasonable control;
- A participant’s failure to follow instructions;
- Undisclosed health information;
- The acts or omissions of an independent third party;
- Travel disruption;
- Visa refusal or delay;
- Currency movements or financial institution fees;
- Loss or theft of personal property; or
- Interruption of a participant’s own technology or internet connection.
Participants acknowledge that yoga, physical activity, travel, accommodation, and participation in group programs may involve inherent risks.
Participants remain responsible for making informed choices, working within their personal limits, obtaining professional advice where appropriate, and following reasonable safety instructions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Inteyoga’s total aggregate liability arising from a particular paid program will not exceed the amount actually paid directly to Inteyoga by the affected participant for that program.
This limitation does not apply where a different limitation is required by law.
23. Force Majeure
For the purposes of these Terms of Service, Inteyoga will not be responsible for a delay, interruption, relocation, modification, or cancellation caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
Such events may include:
- Natural disasters;
- Flooding;
- Fire;
- Extreme weather;
- Epidemic or pandemic conditions;
- Government restrictions;
- War;
- Civil unrest;
- Strikes;
- Transportation disruption;
- Utility failure;
- Venue closure; or
- Serious illness affecting essential personnel.
Where such an event occurs, Inteyoga may take reasonable steps such as:
- Changing program dates;
- Changing the venue;
- Modifying the timetable;
- Moving activities online;
- Replacing an instructor;
- Providing a credit; or
- Cancelling affected services.
Any refund, credit, or alternative arrangement will be determined under the Refund Policy, the circumstances of the event, unrecoverable costs, and applicable law.
24. Suspension and Termination
Inteyoga may suspend access, cancel enrollment, or terminate participation where a participant:
- Fails to pay an amount due;
- Seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms of Service;
- Creates a health or safety risk;
- Engages in prohibited conduct;
- Provides materially false or misleading information; or
- Infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights.
Where circumstances permit, Inteyoga may first provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue.
Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect safety, privacy, legal compliance, property, or the learning environment.
Termination does not remove payment obligations or other responsibilities that arose before termination.
Provisions concerning intellectual property, privacy, liability, submitted content, and governing law will continue where their nature requires them to remain effective.
25. Questions, Concerns, and Complaints
Under these Terms of Service, participants are encouraged to raise concerns promptly so that they can be understood and, where possible, resolved.
Questions or complaints may be submitted through our Contact Us page.
A complaint should, where possible, include:
- The participant’s name and contact information;
- The relevant program or booking;
- Important dates;
- A clear description of the concern;
- Relevant supporting documents; and
- The resolution requested.
Inteyoga may request additional information and will aim to review concerns fairly.
Nothing in these Terms of Service prevents a consumer from using a remedy or complaint process available under applicable law.
General information is available through the official Consumer Protection Act, 2019 page on India Code.
26. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of India, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection that may apply.
Subject to any mandatory legal forum or remedy available under applicable law, disputes will be submitted to the courts having competent jurisdiction in India.
The parties should first make reasonable efforts to resolve a dispute through direct written communication.
Electronic transactions and communications may also be subject to applicable Indian law. The official Information Technology Act, 2000 is available through India Code.
27. General Legal Provisions
Severability
If a court or competent authority finds a provision of these Terms of Service invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
No Waiver
A delay or failure by Inteyoga to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later. A waiver is effective only when confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of Inteyoga.
Assignment
You may not transfer your booking, rights, or obligations to another person without Inteyoga’s prior written approval.
Inteyoga may transfer its rights or obligations as part of a lawful restructuring, merger, sale, or transfer of the relevant business, provided that doing so does not unlawfully reduce participant rights.
Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, the Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy, the applicable program description, and the written booking confirmation form the agreement concerning the relevant service.
They replace prior discussions or representations, except for terms that cannot legally be excluded or a later written amendment authorized by Inteyoga.
Headings and Language
Section headings are provided for convenience and do not change the meaning of the provisions.
Where a translation is provided, the English version will apply to the extent permitted by law if there is an inconsistency.
28. Changes to These Terms of Service
Inteyoga may revise these Terms of Service to reflect changes in:
- Programs;
- Business practices;
- Technology;
- Payment methods;
- Legal requirements; or
- Operational needs.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Changes normally apply from the date of publication.
Where a change materially affects an existing paid booking, Inteyoga will apply the terms that governed the booking unless the change:
- Is required by law;
- Is accepted by the participant; or
- Is reasonably necessary for safety or service delivery.
